Elysium Nightshade

Where I live the things are still shutdown because of the pantemic. Normally I would go to a gym but I’m forced to jog around my neighborhood. I never thought much of my locality but being on the ground running and actually seeing some of the houses, old and not so old, infuses in me a bit of culture. The places I like the best are where the trees and foilage have an unkempt and wild look about them and illustrates a quality of life that I wish to pursue. The stale and well kept lawns and bushes constrains my thinking to a certain degree. On the other hand a wild and windblown landscape causes my mind to experience the majesty and mystery of nature.

Concealed within the old and the crooked is an unseen radiance. The wind carries with it the whispers of lust and desire, it gives me a rush and takes me away to an eternity that’s gone within the blink of an eye. I’m a Magician of Light seeking a balance that’s sometimes hard to achieve. I run around a corner sidewalk and see an overhanging tree above me. Moonbeams enthrall me, the lightness of my body purifies and frees me from illness and disease. I see my shadow on the sidewalk running into an eternity unrestrained by matter. The primeval ancestral breeze summons me. Its radiance and wholesome scent traverses the earth and I snatch it from the passing wind. The silver and white disk above me quickens my heart as I lay down on the grass bathed in moonbeams of mystery, ecstasy and rest.
